About Mark Little
I have always marveled at the detail, complexity, nuance and scale of the natural world and all living things, and I get great pleasure from capturing an intimate view of their beauty and expressions for others to see.
I have been interested in photography since I was 10 years old. I received my first “real” camera at 12 and remember taking pictures during all of our family travels. In high school, I was fortunate enough to be able to develop all of my photos for school publications in my own darkroom at home. As an adult, work, then marriage and kids conspired to prevent any significant photographic efforts. Now that I have retired from my first career, I can follow my passion for photography in a serious way.
My images all represent what my camera’s sensor captured at the moment of shutter release. No elements are added, combined or taken away. I process my images in Lightroom, I crop to focus on my subject, and work with exposure, saturation, sharpness, etc. to refine their presentation.
I hope you enjoy my images as much as I do.
